I just see my HP go from 100 to 0 in an instant but then get back in lane and boom his ult is back up to the same thing

Unless he already has protobelt, he would have use every ability to pull it off, buy a little early magic resist to survive the burst and then, when he tried to kill you, go in on him and punish the fact that all of his abilities will be on CD.

The standard measure to counter any AP burst'ish type champion which only happens because people can't take the time to spend 300~800 gold early game to buy Armor or MR to take advantage of how much scaling power 'early' armor and magic resist brings and can sometimes be a more effective pick up then just building straight to your core.

Now if only everyone can learn from it when they know 'why' a champion is massacring them so easily and how exactly are they going to shut them down early besides a jungle gank.
