I set Warwick up AP strong with masteries/runes by mistake. For some reason, WW seemed to be extremely powerful this way.
Maybe I just had a good game, but can someone explain to me the best way to set WW up using AP, and if this a thing?
Also, if you have any tips/suggested items using AP Warwick.

Bard R Friday1 votesMy favorite way to do it is with fervor of battle and 12 in resolve, magic pen runes, and a build of gunblade, nashor's, lichbane, sorc shoes, rabadon's, void staff. The fervor of battle works because q and r have ad scaling magic damage, and heal based on damage dealt, so it is a better option than other masteries.

and with 15 ap from quints and natural talent and if you start dorans ring that would give you 34 ap to start lvl 1 plus 7% magic pen

if you want to go full on AP while not worrying about tanking. This would only work if you get fed though. If not fed, nashors and lich bane would probably be the first items you want for ap.

is the proper AP warwick build. You can do gunblade/nashors/wits end if you want a normal AP-bias build.
