Anyone that needs an early spike or item that takes time to build up
(which is now a viable rush since it was made much more gold efficient)
Never use it to buy components, but especially for the items with a high combine cost it's useful
again

And lastly it can give access to elixirs before other people are buying them, when extra gold just rots away in a full build anyway.
