Is it ok to just mess and try off meta crap?

long as you are trying to win and don't harass your team (even if they start flaming you) its fine. riot has said its fine. and new meta's used to be off meta so...

I did Darius Support with Draven ADC. The duo works really good, but I'd hate to see Darius nerfed because of it. Off-meta doesn't mean not caring. If you play the game without caring, meta or not, you'll be doing an injustice to your team and could face punishment.

Is it ok? No its very rood to lock in something your team doesn't agree with.

Is it punishable? With the intention of winning, no its not punishable and no one can stop you from doing it.
