the new bruiser items are going to make hecarim a complete and utter beast

steraks gage, increased health and BASE ad, this items synergy with triforce champs alone is going to be out of this world, as triforce is 200% BASE ad on hit, steraks will modify this greatly, and with the passive that grants another 25% bonus giving 50% bonus in total, its synergy with triforce will be outstanding, along with dead mans plate giving him a good alternative to randuins after triforce granting him defensive stats and extra movement speed, granting him bonus ad and the extra auto damage will generally be proc'd by his e, giving a huge single target burst on that auto alone,

tldr- the new items are going to make hecarim tankier, with MUCH more damage ontop of his already heft amount of burst

They are gonna help a lot of champions. Deadmans Plate does seem perfect for hecarim. However Titanic Hydra will be a beast on Renekton when you get to triple proc it same for shyvana only she only double procs.

it doesnt increase base ad. it gives bonus ad equal to 25% base ad, no?

i feel dead mans plate could use tweaks. the mobility part is cool. but both the damage and the slow on the same item makes it feel like the result is underwhelming on both parts.

imo the item should make you feel like delivering a crushing blow after charging into the fight like an ox. they should remove the slow and ramp up the damage portion of the item.

like at 100 stacks, instead of dealing 100 damage, it causes your next attack to critically strike or something like that. maybe even in a small hydra like aoe, with the damage falling off to the outer edges. its relatively easy to counter with evn soft cc, so the impact of the hit at 100 stacks should feel a bit more substantial.

let randuins be the slow and sticking/kiting item, and dead mans plate the "let me charge in and crush this dude" item.

It increases your base ad, making sheen (and triforce) deal more damage on their spellblades

That and it grants a 30% max HP shield and even more to your base AD when you take a certain amount of damage within 4 seconds (kinda like a better item 3156 passive) it's gonna be like the perfect follow up item for fighters who like triforce

Hecarim Jax Nasus Irelia mains rejoice

Actually, I think that Sterak's is going to be more of a trap item, at least for some of the champions you mention here.

What does the item give in stats? Extra base AD and Health, as well as an effect that necessitates you having a rather big health pool (a shield after taking 1800 damage AFTER RESISTANCES is rather useless if you only have 2000 HP).

However, Hecarim, Nasus and Irelia do not synergize too well with raw health, due to their power budgets being spend partially on kit-intrinsic sustain. Sustain gets amplified a lot with resistances, as those resistances effectively increase the value of every HP you regenerate.

Now, I don't say that SG will be a particularily BAD item on those characters - but they might profit more from different items.

No. +25% Base AD.

Yeah. Dead Man's Plate is going to be really strong on him. I remember S3 Hecarim Jungle dominating every match.

I am excited for this.

ehat i find wierd about it, is that its almost difficult to fit into a build. if you dont itemize tanky enough, you die too fast. if you do itemize too tanky, you might run the risk of not getting that passive very often.

though i guess it should fit into the standart bruiser build.

They said the same thing about Vladimir when the AP item changes came, and look at Vladimir now. Nobody complains about him

half of that was because of the new rilays and the reworked abyssal. that thing would have been stupidly strong on him.
