probably the 400th malazahar balance idea thread

okay so this is mostly going to revolve around malzahar's passive.

the thinking behind malzahar's new passive (named void shift) is that it would allow him to ult someone and not instantly get blown up. which is great, i dig the idea. but instead it's essentially just given him a better banshee's passive. i think the main thing that could help keep malz in line is to give his passive a way longer cooldown and perhaps less damage reduction. off the top of my head, a minute cooldown scaling down by two seconds per level might sound alright.

however, to preserve his ability to ult people and not be interrupted, i think it might be cool if ulting people would instantly refresh void shift's cooldown.

essentially what it would be about is giving opponents a much bigger window of opportunity to fight malzahar when his passive is down, but giving his ult more versatility.

i don't pretend to be omnipotent so forgive me if this idea is just flat out bad. just trying to help

a min CD on his passive would mean its as powerful as a REVIVE passive. i dont think thats the case. is it a little fast at lvl 18 (6 second i believe)? maybe but early game it helps against champs with long range pokes (ekko for one) from just timewindering you every time its up for a decent chunk of damage. maybe if they made it a second faster CD every 2 lvls 15 seconds at lvl 18 it might seem more balanced

i do like the refresh on ult idea though. from what i can tell that was a big influence as for its use. hated tryignto ult say a cho'gath and he droped the knock up as i click him...
