i don't feel i have enough room playing against a Pantheon

this is not a whine post, but i almost always play blindpick, and everytime i get a pantheon in top/mid i get terrfied alot, mostly because i feel he's too oppressive, and i don't really know how to lane against him, all he does is poke me with his Q, it's not a skillshot so i can't hide behind minions, he also have the option to stun me and unload all of his kit (minus the ult) in me, and walks away into his minions like nothing happened, like i feel he can control me in the lane and i feel helpless about it

help?

his damage falls off really hard in the mid-late game. in lane you just outsustain his spear harass by building cloth armor and 5 potions and from there the game should be pretty easy. he doesn't have a combat ultimate so post-6 you should gain the 1v1 advantage.

If you're a tank/bruiser, build armor (item 3143 item 3110 item 3068 according to which champ you're using). item 1031 should be enough to keep him at bay in the early-mid game (although it might not build into what you're looking for).

If you're a mage, build... armor xD item 3191 should be nice.

I don't play Panth in lanes anymore since he's too mana demanding (his Q poke drains a lot) and, mostly, 'cause the items I listed up here shut him down very efficiently.

Who are you laning into him as? different champs need to do different things against him.

but the general strategy is don't die, let cs you can't safely get go, he is very cost efficient early, but requires massive amount of gold to stay relevant throughout mid as more then a stun bot.

so farm lane sustain through spears don't worry about being 20-30 cs behind because his mid game costs are more demanding then most so you should be more useful.
