Let's remove the stun from his counterstrike, put a 2 second stun on his Q at all ranks but make counterstrike refresh the duration of the Q stun if it hits the target, so he can't aoe initiate anymore and his strength can be dueling and splitting again

PH451 votesYou do realise that especially in lower elos splitpushing doesn't really work too well, and in higher elos he would be completely denied by any sort of comps that would allow to defend against splitpush.
Jax's identity is fine, and he is fine overall right now.

If they don't it's really pointless since they might just go engage a 4v5 and then you are left alone when they all die, trust me I've seen this a million times playing in gold-plat elo.
Hell while we are at it, let's remove Irelia's ult and E aoe stun all together so she can't teamfight anymore either and just force her to only splitpush.

He isn’t even a good split pusher without Tiamat. That item alone makes everyone a good split pusher.
If you wanted to force roles that’s where you should start. The free wave clear that’s handed to ad bruisers and mages.

You cannot split push well without wave clear. Clearing minions is part of split pushing. He takes towers well, yes. But getting to the towers without a Tiamat is slow af.
As for not forcing. Roles, that’s exactly what you are suggesting. He should only be a split pusher. That’s a role in a team comp.

He would ward deep jungle, shove minions and eat towers with Trinity Q combos and back off if 2 people came to stop him or kill them if it was 1. Oh, and he would spam ping his team with the loud red danger ping. Oh, and below mid plat or so people liked to build tiamat but the good players in higher elo knew better.
