Because your mmr gets fked, 5th divisions suck the most because of that. Whenever i would go on a loosing streak plat 5 0 lp but dont get demoted i look my teammates and its gold 3 people, obviously thats not gonna go well. The only way to fix this is winning games till your mmr is back where it belongs.

As a wise man once said: it's much easier for 4 people to lose the game than for 1 person to carry the game. Not that it can't be done but it's really hard to 1v5 if enemy team has half a brain to team fight properly and take objectives.
