know your jungler

understanding that the jungler role is VERY sensitive, and keeps on creating a very high impacts towards the game in almost all lanes

now whenever you see a jungler, you need to know exactly what roles do they serve.

for example, Junglers such as Nautilus Shaco Pantheon Rammus are a Ganking junglers, they shine BEST at ganking, having them on your team meaning you need to know how to set up a gank or Bait because mostly it will benefit you

while junglers like Udyr Aatrox Olaf XinZhao tend to want to apply pressure in the lane they show their selfs at, they won't gank unless they see an opportunity, you have a jungler similar to that? don't push hard when they farm your side of the jungle, and most importantly, FOLLOWUP, i cannot stress how much important for those junglers to count on you to followup

and then you have junglers that have like to focus on objectives, such as Nunu Chogath

each of those can serve more than 1 purpose depending on the build

you want a Gank? know how your jungler wants to approach your lane.

couple more advices:

1- Clear all wards from the side your jungler coming, or at the very least tell your jungler if that bush is warded or not

2- Force SMALL trades make sure both of you is at 50% HP or lower, junglers get attracted to low health enemies

3- if you see your jungler on the other side of the map, please throw a ward and play carefully, he/she won't bail you out if you screwed up

4- if the jungler waited a while in the bush, it means you NEED to take that tower if this gank was successful, you took too much time and denied other lanes the junglers presence, you denied pressure from other lanes, therefore you NEED to create one from your lane now that you got a kill/assist by getting also a tower

5- if your jungler has devourer, don't take the big jungle creeps, that's just hurting your jungler

Another thing to throw in as a jungler is to know your jungler's engagement pattern. Some junglers, like Vi, Hecarim, Sejuani or Nautilus, are very good initiators - if I'm playing one of these, I'm going to come tearing out of the bushes waving a variety of lethal implements and start messing your opponent's face up. I'm looking to start the fight - I need your help to finish it by dumping some burst on them or locking them down for us to wail on them. In that case, let me go in first and then follow up.

Other junglers, such as Elise, are better second initiators - I need you to start the fight so that I can jump in. Start trading with them, get them invested, and then I'll come in so we can start painting the lane with their bodily fluids.

Finally, keep in mind how much CC your jungler has. If I'm Naut or Sej? I'm the CC king, I just need you to apply the damage while I do the lockdown. If I'm playing Rek'Sai, however, I have one, somewhat limited form of CC. If you want the kill, you either need to have supplemental CC to lock them down or a lot of burst to kill them before they can recover. This is especially true for Skarner - pre-6 or if my ult is down, I need a couple seconds on the target to get the stun off, and otherwise, I just have one dodgeable slow, so I need you to help keep them down while I get that stun off.

Wish people would look at this. I refuse to gank unless I'm guaranteed a kill or their flash is down. People don't want a bank to get ahead, they usually want it because they are getting rekt and want your help to go EVEN. It's not. A junglers Jon to help you go EVEN with your lane. With this mindset my average CS on my jungler, esp vi, is around 190 of just CAMPs which means I'm full build around 25-27 min.
