Phylol's Season 8 IP/Essence Calculator

With Season 8, all of our IP & Blue Essence will be combined into one Single Currency. After which, a special shop will be open for those who have MASSIVE amounts of the new Currency (would rather refer to it as IP, that won't change for me personally). Phylol has put a tool together in order to figure out just how much we would earn when Season 8 comes in. This is a rather helpful tool & it should allow us to get an Idea as to how much each of us will be receiving. Remember to Salvage Blue Essence from Champion Shards as it's rumored that any Blue Essence earned/stockpiled will be multiplied by x6.5 come Season 8.

ONLY Runes bought from May 30 until November will be refunded (Rune Pages are NOT being refunded). So you should edit that onto the calculator

Not true. All rune pages bought with IP will be refunded for 1500 Blue Essense each. Every 4 bought with RP will be given an Epic Skin shard.

I know this is late, but you're wrong, every 4 rune pages are rewarded, so you can have bought only two(+the 2 default=4) and get an epic skin, it happened with me.

They also said they would be rounded them up depending on how many you had. If you only had gotten 1-2 pages then you'd still get 1 skin.

So, not wrong.

dude this isnt that beneficial since now we cant get blue essence whenever we play a game so yeah blue essence is now so much more harded to get

As of right now, yeah this Thread is a bit outdated. You are correct about that. I made this post 2 months ago when the whole Blue Essence thing as a concern as not many people knew how much BP they were going to get when Riot retired the Runes System. Just thought that this would help people figure out how much they were getting when Pre-Season finally came. As for earning Blue Essence, it might seem like it's going to take a bit longer to get newer champions. After playing on PBE for a while however, this wasn't entirely a problem. When Leveling up, you earn a special Hextech crafting lootbox that gives you 1-3 random Champion shards that you can Disenchant for more Blue Essence. They also said you will still earn BP for playing if I'm not mistaken, so I'm sure things will work out either way.
