Is there ever any benefit to building Maw over Phantom dancer on an adc? Like against a full or mostly ap team the maw shield lasts longer and gives extra AD, lifesteal and spell vamp, But PD is crit and the shield absorbs more late game. Should I just go PD no matter what?
Yeah. For Adc maw is basically a dead item. Pd doesn’t take you off build path and does the job maw does.
if the enemy team has multiple ap threats like LB + a support brand then Maw would be better But even if you're going maw, you should still be getting a zeal item that isnt PD beforehand
