I would have never though anyone out of South Africa knows about our language. English, Chinese and Korean are languages that are very much more well know then afrikaans and it really feels like no one except us in South Africa now about it.

Im just very pleased and happy Rito included this, like it really makes me happy to see that other people actually acknowledge my language. THe only other time i have ever found afrikaans in any type of games or media was Far Cry 3 and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Dankie Riot Grafiese speletjie dat julle ons taal erken.

Kaisa’s base lines are in a South African accent according to LoL wiki iirc. (Correct me if I’m wrong)__

Lots of people know about Afrikaans, since South Africa has been a source of current events for decades. Most of us outsiders just don't speak the language, although we're definitely aware of it. The latest Ducktales episode even made a reference to one of the antagonists having a South African accent (originally was from SA in the comics, then made Scottish for the 80s cartoon, and restored to SA for the current series). Also, high-profile celebrities like Charlize Theron and Elon Musk are known to be South African, and Theron is a native Afrikaans speaker (Musk likely is, but doesn't appear to actively speak it).
