Shen's Q should let him teledash to his sword

You should make Shen's sword randomly spawn in the area around Shen every several seconds and let him teledash to it with the same buff he has on live.

If Shen teledashes through a champion, they would get the same debuff they receive when his sword passes through them on live.

I believe having a semi-reusable situational teleport makes a lot more sense for Shen's character and is more in line with his lore.

A little too random for my likes. Maybe something like making his E have extended range up to a limited amount if the end point is within the small area around his sword affected by his W. Not sure Shen needs changes though.

That sounds awful...

Also why are people so focused on his theme and lore, rather than what's viable and FINE as is?

He got an actually good rework, which is more than can be said for most champions lately - do you really want that to potentially change, just because you think it "doesn't fit his lore enough"? Leave it alone.

As a someone who has played a TON of shen since his rework, in my opinion he is fine as is. This concept just sounds really strange

Well All of his skill sound fine but they ll have to change his q mechanic a bit but yours looks weird to me.

If anything, they should simply increase the hitbox on his Q. Can't tell you how many times the blade has flat out gone through the CENTER of an enemy and not slowed them, or given the AS buff.

Other than that, for the love of god let him be... Updates/reworks are hit or miss, and there don't seem to be as many 'hits' these days with far more misses... but Shen's rework was certainly a Hit. And now people are actually asking Riot to potentially screw that up entirely?... Just why?

It's called don't fix what ain't broke.
