You play one, you played them all
As a disclamer, this isn't spouting hate, this is more or less talking about changing up the gameplay a bit for either maybe a game mode or "something else". Now then, while I understand that the map typically is focused to have zero randomness presence when it comes to removing blunt redundancies (even though the dragon patch has altered that perspective) if you play each role of every character or have played from A to Z- you will realize that it is typically the same thing over and over again and the only reason why you had fun once before was because the champion was strong in a very spectific way (whether it be sustain, damage, control or team efforts). Don't believe me? Alright, then let me help you see my perspective. Skip ahead of the quotes once or if you get the picture,"Objectives: Towers, Farm/CS, Vision, Buffs/Herold/Baron/Drake and Counterbuilding. Map presense: Denying farm, Denying XP from any lanner, helping ally defencively or agressively, and controling minion waves."
You see, I think this game can easily offer more "variety" with gameplay rather than just the champion you play. A simple alteration of random spawn points for Dragon pit and Rift Herold can completely shift what kind of pressure is placed for each lane. I personally think that predictablitity creates stagnation and that's why bot lane is usually the most rushed and pressured lane in the majority of league's history. For example, you have to forfeit dragon because your entire team spikes late game while the enemy spikes early game. Oh well, its not like top lane, midlane and jungler could have contested dragon if it spawned where baron would (sarcasm). And I get what you're thinking, "moving it there will cause problems" and yes it would if swapping herold and drake were permanant rather than randomly, but that's not the case at all. The whole point of randomly spawning these is to create balance upon the side of the map as well as adding new elements to lane pressure. No longer would bot lane be the only one forced to master wave control and miss out on crucial xp for a seperate objective.
This too could apply to other things. For example, all of the jungle camps no longer reside in the same area. Sometimes there will be 2 red buffs, or 2 blue buffs, or even gromp where krugs were last. What about the lanes? Well, I thought it would be cool to see supports have an active on their support items to place on a singular inhibitor which would then correlate to what buffs or nerfs ally or enemy minions have- whether it be damage, numbers, attack speed, or other things. For top lane, they'll get much bulkier minoins relitave to their champion picks, and mid lane will have roaming waves that can cross through river and seige an objective or lane. Things would be a lot more intresting, but again. This is just an idea. Nothing Serious.
