In Need Of More Aggressive MR Items.
Ask yourself, "What is the point of building some kind of defence?" Well, the point of building defense is so you can sustain the damage that is being done to you over an extended period of time. ...But then there is AP and MR that it starts to degrade the point of sustainability. For the aggressive AD user who... let's say is forced to build defensive- at some point in the game, they should be able to pull off a successful 2v1 gank and live to tell the story. Right? Well the favor falls out of their hands more than what one would think. Looking at the items, people could claim that counterbuilding is a core mechanic which helps anyone own lane and ultimately make up a good composition for you and your team.
... but let's take a real hard look at that, shall we? If you're an AD who is forced to build some MR, there are only 3 items that help with this and they do the job relatively poorly. They need better passives, stats, build paths or become cheaper. These items are:

. Of course we're going to exclude boots here because let's face it, they're bound to be bought. The reason why I bring this up is because there aren't many choices out there for AD and MR combined alike. There needs to be more of these items alike so the contesting can be a little more valid. Making my stance a little bit stronger here, any team of 5 AP damage dealers with absolutely any synergy has ran uncontested for a very long time now and I don't think anyone has realized how badly it has consumed league. This is probably because the pros have yet to exploit that, but it isn't like that should matter. Instead go ahead and do a little research; Play a couple of games with this. Just about every time I have played a game against this, we've managed to lose. Why? Well, the CC isn't relative. Instead of having 5 CC per team, you have to deal with like 7-10 per team. They have the ability to lure you in by spamming abilities or else they get free poke off. The time frame between abilities aren't wide enough to make them pay for their sins, and they do too much damage too fast from multiple sources without taking reasonable damage. Tanks used to be the only thing that could stand up to them and even if someone were to invest into an adaptive helm, it can't help anymore than the rest of the items could. Not a single team can contest against this anymore and it seems as if no one is paying any attention to this at all.
Does anyone remember doing a few thousand damage per auto as a marksmen? Ehem. Audio reporter: "Well say no more! That damage has been moved over to the AP users. We have AP users who can do that damage plus %hp damage, plus health growth and spamming, plus medium and hard cc, plus outplay-ability, and counter buildable."... What I'm saying here is that AP champions are way more of a problem than what is being sold to the public because the average normie just wants to do damage where the pros will build to compliment. Please don't let it come to that and let's allow counter building be a little more prevalent for the aggressive users.
