Bone Plating vs Overgrowth

Which would you choose for a tank/tanky Malphite?

I suspect Bone Plating is a bit superior against most enemies but I could be wrong.

Nah it's pretty good.

It's only mandatory on... well chogath.

I do enjoy overgrowth on darius though.

Bone plating is meant to be an early game rune for in lane. Overgrowth is 30~40 min late game rune. Pick your poison.

i'm guessing sorcery is your primary tree since if resolve was it you could have both to make the enemy hate you

Bone plating is strong but it's kind of situational. Overgrowth is situational as well but not as strong since those situations are few and far between.

If you're going for Resolve secondary, personally i'd go with Bone Plating + Second Wind... That on top of a DShield start is basically equal to saying "Stop damaging me you troll" every time someone tries to hit you in lane... Of course, both those runes are sort of early game runes and they drop off drastically come late game so... if you're looking for scaling, Conditioning + Overgrowth would probably be the better choice (Not sure, im not a tank main... so take all this with a grain of salt)
