We Need to be Given An Allowable Number of Dodges for Solo Queue

Matchmaking issues aside, everybody needs to be allowed to dodge a few times a day when it comes to solo queue.

As someone who's never had a real record of dodging I find it absurd that I'm going to lose 10 LP and have to wait 30 minutes after two dodges just because I refused to play a game where our first pick lets the enemy team grab both WW and Morgana. Fine 3 LP and 5 minutes I can live with, BUT DON'T QUEUE ME UP WITH THE EXACT SAME PLAYERS AFTER A DODGE. I'm not even sure how some Gold 4 with a barely 50% win rate after 900+ ranked games is being queued up at platinum ELO without duo queuing but if I take the hit just to avoid what is going to be an obvious loss, don't queue me up with the exact same player, in the first pick slot again, immediately after my 5 min ban is up.

After months and months, and dozens of games lost in champ select that I played out because "dodging is wrong", I've had it. I've dropped from Plat 3 to Plat 5 by following the rules and trying to trust these randoms I get. Now I'm constantly fighting just to regain and keep my LP and fix my thrashed MMR.

Remember back before dodging had a penalty? Yeah it was annoying with the number of remakes you had to do but thousands of ranked games were still played every day just in NA alone. People still played the game even though dodging was a common annoyance.

I love playing off-meta stuff. AP Nasus is one of my favorite builds and I still run J4 as a support in the right situations. So I'm not going to criticize someone who seriously wants to be the best Fiddlesticks top, but I'm done trusting these randoms. For every mechanically solid AP Ez mid I get dozens of players who barely have an understanding of mechanics, feeding their lane, blind pushing, not warding, not communicating and not using their brains. They can barely play the proven strategies at a competent level and they're going to pick things that, let's be honest here, takes more game knowledge and talent than they possess.

I'm sick of seeing the 4th and 5th picks auto lock Katarina into teams that have already locked Janna and Gragas and Nautilus. I'm tired of players auto locking w/e is 'flavor of the month' despite having negative KDAs and no experience on the champs. I'm especially disgusted by the seemingly ever-prevalent issue of "my team is losing where I'm not". Am I top? Odds are my bot lane is responsible for over half the team's deaths. Am I jungle? Chances are good that all three lanes are going to blind push in the early game then end up losing to constant ganks.

I'm no longer playing at that bronze to gold level where I can just get fed and carry a game on my own strength and I can see the games lost in champ select coming a mile away.

There are many players with the knowledge and comprehension to know when odds are unevenly stacked against them before the game has even begun. We need to be given a number of free dodges for solo queue. Either make it a flat amount a day/week or make it something you earn like with ARAM champion re-rolls. Just please stop punishing us because we don't want to play with that guy that looks like a leper.
