I'm gonna accept the hatred of the boards and ask for some tips on how to get started with Lee Sin

Hoo boy. This won't end well. So, I recently (a little before god fist was announced) gained an interest in Lee sin. Mostly it was his knockout skin that made him begin to be appealing. His kit seems interesting, even fi I don't fully understand it. So I figured I'd work to get him. So I'm wondering what tips I can get on how to start Lee sin and hopefully not suck. What should I build, what's a good way to work with his abilities, etc. Please no comments like "play a champ that requires skill" or something, as I'm actually interested in playing Lee cause he looks fun. I'd like actual tips, please.
