Warwick and Camille as Foils to Each Other

I think that Camille and Warwick (new one of course) are perfect foils to each other. Both are assassin-murderers from Piltover and Zaun respectively. One is a high-ranking official who volunteered to augment her body for her family, while Warwick was kidnapped and forcibly augmented, yet uses his power for the "greater good" of Zaun. In game, Camille is a top laner who has to lock down a singe target then has to get out due to squishiness, while warwick hunts people through the jungle. Appearance-wise, Camille looks like someone who focuses on precision, using sharp blades and walking straight up, while WW is bestial, uses serrated claws, has tubes and chemicals in him from every which way,

now let's compare splash arts. Warwick is low to the ground in a dirty place, while Camille is standing on a tower. Where Camille is looking for her target, Warwick has just finished off his victim. The music for Camille is elegant, playing the violin and string instruments, while Warwick has gritty music with drums and electric guitar, a much more savage and primal theme

I agree, I think it's great. They represent their respective cultures really well.

What -I- say is that I'm going to miss the Warwick vs Soraka lore very much.

I thought it was fairly obvious, considering both of them act as vigilantes but are driven by diametrically opposed ideals. Furthermore, the beast is the one driven by idealism while the "civilized" individual is the one driven by ambition and a need to maintain their station. Nevermind the whole natural vs. mechanical symbolism - Riot really brought their A game when it comes to the dichotomy between those two characters.

well thought out

Camille's music isn't elegant. It's commanding and authoritative, but lacks the flow and grace of elegance.

I noticed this too, it seems so perfect I had to ask riot in their ama how much they talked to Camille's writer when hashing out the stories. But it seems like other than doing the joint piltover/zaun event there wasn't a conscious effort to steer the characters towards being foils for each other.

man, this makes me want warden camille to be a thing so they can officially have opposing skin lines (warden camille and marauder warwick)

They are most assuredly opposites, and that makes them wonderful foes/frienemies. I could see a joint story where they're hunting the same prey and it turns out so so deliciously deadly.

nice statement i like both themes pretty much too. its going to be more interesting if u know that camille apparently hired killer ww years ago to kill vi's parents. so camille elegant b*tch and ww rude anit-hero.
