My opinion on Akali...
Akali was my first true main and I loved her to bits! Everything about her like the gameplay, playstyle, and art design(ninja yeah! :D). Although, ever since her latest change to her E I had lost interest in her and stopped playing her. The reason is I simply felt more annoyed trying to play her after even when I did extremely well which was more often then not. When I saw the changes on the current PBE I got extremely excited but then when I tried to play her again for the first time in months I remembered why I had stopped. I feel her kit without the ability to proc Q with E is just far to clunky for comfort for me to enjoy. Trying to weave in autos in the middle of a team fight with her animations is just more annoying then enjoyable(this coming from someone who now mains all auto based champions that usually builds sheen and weaves autos aka Irelia, Jax, Fizz, Kog Maw, and Sona), it just doesn't suit her kit. Now I'm a bit heartbroken that the fix Riot has come up for her is not going to return Akali to her former glory that i had with her. I really wish they would have just reverted the E change and possibly nerfed her ratios a bit if they still felt she was op even in the middle of this Tank meta with easily accessible stealth vision(upgraded trinkets). I'm sure there will be plenty of Akali mains happy with the new changes and I wish the best for them but I guess I am simply done with her. She will always have a spot in my heart as some of the best memories and most fun I've had playing video games. </3
I am curious what all of your thoughts and opinions are on her current state is LoL boards. Please no "delete her" or rude comments, looking for constructive thoughts~ :o
It's a really stupid looking build I know but give it a chance. Max E then Q then W, R whenever possible (duh). Do 21/9/0 ad masteries. I run armor pen marks (Trying to get the hybrid quents later but they cost ip and stuff lol), armor seals, magic resist glyphs, and flat ad quents. This build late game you will have ABOUT an even amount of ad and ap (around 260 on ap and ad) and an even amount of armor and mr. And you'll have a whopping 3000 health end-game. My favorite part is that you are a teamfight assassin pretty much that can sustain like fricking crazy and still do burst damage and heal rapidly. Oh yeah start with 1

. Btw important factor you'll have around 80% spellvamp... Yeah op as flip. Also no one can counter build you cause you're so hybrid they cant just buy a frozen heart to stop you. Or a banshees. They'll have to build a couple of 
's. AND IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE ME TRY IT FOR YOURSELF. It works for me anyway. It's actually the only akali build I use because of the nerfs to her ap (DONT GET ME WRONG AP AKALI IS STILL AWESOME!) It's just that ap akali if she get's caught out once, she's pretty much dead... That lissandra is coming for akalis ap booty. Try it out if you don't believe me. Good luck on the rift baby!
