ARAMS Now longer than Normals/Summoners rift..?

So, I'm a big fan of this game, and I really enjoy the amount of care RIOT puts into League.

However, I've been a player since late season 3, and never have I been so concerned with the state of Summoners Rift as I am now. It's gotten to a point where I end normal/ranked games and feel little to no satisfaction.

There's little to no wiggle room for me to really shine or even "Come back".And when I do shine it feels fickle and over too quickly because the enemy team ff's 20 minutes in anyway almost always whenever someone gets fed enough.

It feels as if challenge has been ... lessened? The stakes don't feel as high. I don't like long drawn out games but it's at a point where my ARAM games are usually longer then full blown SR games. Legitimately speaking, this cant look okay to Riot. How can it be ok? If I wanted a short 20 minute game, I'd hop into an ARAM

Some advice may be, -Buffing towers armour and magic resist (At least early game) -Buffing tower damage so that players can have a "Safe" place to retreat to in the early game at least -Increasing turret range (Maybe, though those implications may be too scary)

Some issues -Laning phase ends in 7-8 minutes, making it difficult to recover -Towers do little, See fed chogath who takes 20 tower shots while his team dives the inhib turret damage -Little to no penalty for tanks diving I think I was one of the few people who enjoyed pre-season 5 inhib turrets -- to be clear -- NOT the lasers, but the fact that the more you tanked for it, the more armour of yours it would shred.

So do you believe SR games should be notably longer than ARAMS? Share your opinion
