The new champion, and Kindreds pronouns

Hey all! Regarding the new champion, I absolutely love the concept. Riot took the whole ying and yang thing and changed it into something with a lot more personality. Playing them on the pbe is really a lot of fun, and I think that they're a great addition to league. When they're released I hope I see some lore added! Whether a video or an interactive story, doesn't matter to me.

The thing that's bothering me, is, the community generally refers to Kindred as a female. And not that anythings wrong with that! I just wanted to point out that this champ was specifically designed to be TWO halves of a WHOLE that make a champion TOGETHER. They are one entity in my opinion and thus, do not have a gender to use as a pronoun. I'm actually so happy that there is a champion that has to be refered to as 'they' or 'them'. If you're refering to the female side of kindred, you're refering to Lamb, if you're refering to the male side of kindred you're refering to Wolf. I like the distinction that they are, together, one being. Thus should be refered to as they.

I mean, you could argue that the being kindred was originally male, because it was a man who split himself in two to create the being. But I don't like that, I like that kindred is neither male nor female.

Regardless of gameplay, the champion itself is designed to be two beings that make up one.

P.S even Lamb and Wolf refer to themselves as 'Us' If you need further evidence

P.S.S who know's, maybe lamb is the male and wolf is the female? Their voices could just be really high or deep

P.S.S.S **** PLEASE MAKE A REVERSE KINDRED SKIN Annie ****

"Every life, "-Lamb

Ends with us." -Wolf

I prefer 'they' but keep defaulting to 'her' because Lamb is the one you hear most and has such a feminine sounding voice. Honestly, I'm going to have some trouble adjusting, but I'll have to if I really intend to main them. <3

It depends of the situation, when i talk about the past of Kindred, i talk about "him" since he was one being (apparently male)... However, if i talk about Kindred in the present, its "they"... unless I'm specifically talking about Lamb or Wolf, then, its "she" or "he".

Unless one of the two is specifically addressed, I go with they.

I don't think it's a matter of them being neither gender, it's a matter of them being both. Regardless, they are a plural being, so they is accurate.

I know that it should be They/They're/ Their, but I often find myself using She/Her/Hers due to the fact that Lamb is a feminine spirit and you directly interact with Lamb and not Wolf.

Just because they are two halfs doens't meant they aren't their own.

Lamb is she Wolf is he Both are They becuase they is plural.

Lamb is the more main one since she's the one you're controlling, but one of the Rioters already addressed that their pronouns are they.

I'm in agreement with focusing on lamb really.....and honestly I'm not too worried about pronoun use.

it's a guy who split himself in half. Not sure why this is in dispute.
