Riot still can't figure out matchmaking for the good, but not professional, players stuck in hell.

To constantly carry yourself and avoid losing streaks, you gotta carry every game. Go 10-0 (example) and wreck the enemy in fights, carrying your team to victory.

So, let's say you did that in Bronze.

You reach Silver 1, and now you can't do that anymore. You can't go 10-0 at 20 minutes every game anymore.

However, you are STILL winning your lane every game. You're going 3-2 or 3-1 (example), you're getting more CS, and taking your opponents tower. Every single game, you're still winning your lane, and getting the gold advantage for your team. But you're not 10-0 and not able to solo carry everyone.

This means, that now this player will be stuck in Silver 1 forever until they get so good that they can 10-0 again? How is this fair?

Logically, if I am still winning my lanes in 99% of the matches I am in, I SHOULD BE CLIMBING. I shouldn't have to carry every damn game. But, since Riot artificially keeps everyone at 50% W/L ratio, and you can't carry 10-0 anymore... you're now stuck in Elo Hell forever.

This is what people are complaining about. They know they are better than most of the players in their games.. but they aren't 10-0 better. And they shouldn't have to be. As long as I am still winning my lane and being one of the strongest players on either team, I should still be climbing in ELO.

But Riot's system has left these players, like me, in the dust. We're forever stuck unless we become pro players. Which is honestly not fair at all. Okay, so I can't carry by myself in Gold. But I am still winning my lane and being a super strong teammate. I should be able to join Gold games.

it extra sucks when you play non carry / team utility champs. something like a tanky engager, with zero escape, but great engage + CC. as that champ, your never gunna carry anything. its not even your job. your jobs to soak up damage, soak up cc, engage when its right, and have your team deal the damage.

but if you have a team, that even when given the perfect engage (example. 5v3. all equal lvl. your team all 5 90%+ life + abilities. enemy 3 man all 50% life or less, with no sums/ults), if your team decides to run/back, the moment you engaged, despite it being clear, pinged, etc... your dead.

or say your jg. i would say a good 95% of my games, i get first 2 drakes + herald + help 1-2 lanes get kill lead + counter jungle to keep enemy jungler under lvl'd/geared so they cant effectively gank/do much, all in early game. thats a huge advantage for team. but still, if my team takes that lead then just throws it away, and dies 15 times in the next 3 minutes after that... its really really hard / near impossible to come back from that (actually, its really not that hard, but usually when that happens so many people just give up, that it if you have 3x people on the team give up after that, thats what makes it near impossible).

our mmr climb/loss should be based 80-90% on our individual performance

Well, pro? not really. Even a low diamond player would be 10-0 in silver games. I've seen how diamonds do in silver and it is HILARIOUS. Now, if you were gold last season and you are silver now, it's pretty much the same because there is a whole new tier bellow bronze. If you are silver now and you were silver last season, you have actually climbed but it's not that apparent due to having the same mineral define your rank

Going 10-0 in Bronze doesn't help either. I was beating Darius as a tryndamere. I pressed tabbed and almost fainted.

Everyone else on my team had 11 deaths.
