Total wins shown for ranked players on profiles

I believe wins from previous ranked seasons should be added to the normal game win totals after the seasons are completed. As someone who's played since prelaunch, I have a lot more experience than my normal game total of 548 wins shows.

Does anyone else feel the same? Any drawbacks? Any reason why they aren't counted in the first place?

It's the normal game stats I'm pretty sure though. Although I would want this, It just wouldn't make sense in that spot.
