Can The Next Class Update/Overhaul Be Enchanters?

I love Enchanters, I love being able to heal and shield my team, to protect from anything that happens, and to essentially be a giant middle finger to the enemy team. Unfortunately, as time has gone by, Enchanters more or less have been left in the dust, with this season being the worst for them, after receiving more than what was necessary nerfs. Aside from that, which is more of a balancing issue on Riots part, what's really the issue is Enchanters lack of independence. Their kits are so agonizingly dependent on their team to do well, that unless you know for sure you're playing with top tier, master level players, odds are that you'll lose. Enchanters can only make good players better, and can do little else for a shitty ADC.

Yes, I'm aware that the point of Enchanters is that they are reliant on their team, and that their purpose is to increase what's already there. All I ask, is for them to at least receive some independence, so when you ADC ints and feeds in lane, you, as Janna or Soraka or any other Enchanter, aren't forced to stay under tower or back because of your terrible, horrible ADCs faults and errors.

Yet, another issue I've noticed about Enchanters is that they lack an identity, outside of "heal the god awful ADC you got stuck in lane with" and being basically squishy and defenseless. I feel that an Enchanter update could do both, offering them independence, and an identity that doesn't entirely conists of "shield the feeding ADC who's so bad you wish you were dead."

I'm not a gameplay genius, I don't have a full page worth of ideas and mechanics to give, I just know that Enchanters really need something to save them from the abysmal ADCs that Enchanter players receive. The only thing I can add in regards to gameplay, is that I feel Enchanters should start off with higher base armor, but having a lower growth rate, due to the fact that again, their focus is to protect the ADC over themselves, and that early game, with the lack of damage they can actually deal, as well as the lack of of access to powerful support items such as Locket, Enchanters are painfully easy to kill, making their laning phase alot more difficult than needed.

Class updates were discontinued long ago.

Most enchanters are actually about CC/Utility, NOT Shield/Barriers. Those are simply supplementary and "opposite damage."

What carries Nami (which I score on average 48 more points of CC per game than ANY elo) is the fact a good Nami can time and land CC even on champs who make it difficult/impossible, like Akali or Yasuo . The heals themselves rarely make a difference in a fight, because damage is so large that 70-80% of people you heal end up dying before the heal even reaches them, or die even after the heal.

Save from the adcs? Try building some AP if you actually want to insulate against a bad adc. I generally have ~ 440-460 AP on Nami in every game. I'm not saying to walk away from supporting, btw. I'm saying.... you can bolster their efforts by doing something like item 3504 item 3174 item 3040 , which should put you around 400. it still has support viability, but it also scales an enchanter's damage/mobility/ability to land CC.
