If The Star Guardians Did Ever Get Their Own Anime..
and
would be reduced to background characters, probably only used for comic relief. They're the only one's that don't have their own personal story or struggle, unlike every other Star Guardian.
would so obviously be the protagonist, so of course she's gonna be seen in every episode, not to mention they can use her struggle and difficulty to lead a team, along with her insecurity when faced with Ahri, a much more experienced leader, to move the show along.
is Lux's bestfriend, and would probably end up becoming a secondary, or perhaps even a main protagonist along with her. Not to mention she has her struggle with coping with the restrictiveness of being a Star Guardian, and her want to be a rebel, to drive her character arc forward.
and
have a whole secret history together, with their intertwined character arcs becoming the final story arc at the end of the series, when everything is revealed. Not to mention, Syndra, duo to her ambiguous morals and power hungry nature, could serve as the "hidden antagonist" or as a spy/mole for the true antagonist of the series, revealing at the end that she herself was simply being used and/or was corrupted. Also, with Janna acting as an advisor and teacher to Lux, it instantly places her in a leading role.
is the rival of Lux, and can function in any episode where Lux needs to feel insecure about herself. Plus, with Syndra guiding Ahri the same way Janna guides Lux, Ahri herself could be turned into an "accidental antagonist" acting against Lux because of lies that Syndra told her. Not to mention, it's somewhat implied that Ahri is becoming more independent and rebellious, wanting to break away from the First Star because of the fate that befalls all Star Guardians.
would essentially be to Ahri what Jinx is to Lux, with her grief over her dead comrades allowing for her own personal character arc, having to finally come to terms with it and be at peace. With her more aggressive attitude, she herself could be lead astray because of the grief she feels, and end up becoming a minor antagonist in her own right, becoming "corrupted" similar to Syndra, with Ahri and the other Star Guardians trying to save her, and acting as a "what if" to Ahri, letting Ahri see what would happen to her if she to walked away.
he's simply there for the sake of there being a guy, and acting as a love interest for Lux. Overall though, he also lacks his own personal character arc aside from having a crush on Lux.
while not necessarily having her own personal character arc, a few lines from her bio, "she has a special connection to the stars", "Her unprecedented command of the Starlight", and "mysterious origin among the stars" has led me to come up with a theory. Soraka isn't Soraka, she's an extension of the First Star, merely a construct of its power, acting as its spy and watching Syndra. At the very end of the series, Soraka could be faced with havng to return her "energy" to the First Star, until pleas from the other Star Guardian, and Soraka's memories and relationships she has made, cause the Star Guardian to feel pity, and allows Soraka to keep existing as her own seperate being. Overall, she would be acting as a hidden portagonist, not revealing her true purpose until just before climax of the series.
While, yes, Lulu does have her own "special connection to the stars" Soraka takes this role as well, and simply has more potential to be a greater character and of more importance to the overall plot. Besides, it would be odd for Lulu, due to both her personality and being the youngest of the Star Guardians, to take on a more serious role.
And there really isn't anything to say about Poppy. She's given the least characterization, and background, out of any Star Guardian, with her only defining characteristics being her determined attitude, and black and white view of the world. Those are also the only things we know about her, aside from using a hammer and disliking Jinx.
