Glacial Augment/Approach Velocity Sion

I took the idea from Tahm Kench taking these runes. I'm not sure about top lane, but this was very useful as support Sion. I've played once in top, but I hadn't played a lot of top lane recently so I lost lane pretty hard.

These runes make it easier to chain your CC. E-Q is much more reliable, and it provides more CC at all levels. In addition, it provides a way to catch up to your enemies in your passive, which is otherwise nearly impossible without items such as . On top of all that, rush is made even more powerful with the freeze ray.

I've had similar success with Karma as well, making it much easier to land W snare by slowing them with Glacial and moving towards them faster. It's easier to land an extra auto or so in short trades, but I think Aerie might still be better.
