Ruby should give him 5% extra hp, AD and armor Sapphire should give him 5% extra mp, AP, and MR Emerald should increase ward range by 15% and 10% ward vision Opal should increase healing done by 15% and +10 flat MS
Or just make these the new sight stone enhancement to make sight stone worth buying instead of greater stealth totem.

Sightstone is viable though. It allows you to get Vision Totem or Oracle's Lens while still having max stealth wards.

Midlaners usually get Lens to deny vision, but when i play supp, i get greater stealth totem at lvl 9 and use pink wards to remove vision from objectives and the death bushes next to mid lane
