Why in the everloving fuck am I being placed in a low d5 MMR game and losing to pure and uncontrolled cancer?

This wasn't even a match, the enemy team pretty much used botlane as a fleshlight and won by default. Why do I have to be put in this bracket after climbing out of it?

I would also appreciate my 17 league points back.

They match off the same mmr both teams are around the same in mmr rating.
