Myself a 600 armour, 200 MR, 3600 hp, Malphite took less damage and died quicker than a full ad Yasuo with bloodthirster and schimitar.
I am happy I got carried I just question why I would play a tank when a full damage carrier has better sustain than I do while doing way more damage than myself?
Because Yasuo only has slightly less HP than you at that point, but he has multiple ways to gain more mid-combat through his passive and lifesteal. Armor becomes somewhere around 1/3 effective once damage dealers start finishing their core builds, and magic resist is about 1/2 effective. HP becomes less effective, too, since more %HP items are bought, and you’re more likely to be fighting anyone on the enemy team who has %HP damage.
The only things that can guarantee usefulness in a late game teamfight are multiplicative damage scaling, utility, and crowd control. League of Legends no longer has any such thing as a “damage sponge” if so much as a single carry on the enemy team knows how to itemize against you... unless someone else on your team takes care of them first.
Possibly because you soaked the immediate damage and what's left wasn't enough to kill him before lifesteal and whatnot came into effect. Depends how consistent enemy damage is and their Hurst windows.
Yasuo can get bursted down. He wasn't really "tankier" than you, he just lasted longer cuz of lifesteal. So I guess that you're trying to say that tanks should be more tanky... right?
Because healing/shields and preventing damage from happening in the first place with mobility or cc or killing
Are all amazingly good counters to true damage and armor penetration when compared to armor.

Because he can E Q E Q minions , Full HP Again , and don't forget he builds Sterak and that 3100 item which gives 1700 HP with Blood thirster shield while having his passive shield , his w blocks everything, oops, I just talked why he is cancerous lol
