Why is it still not an option to remake a game in champion select?
I finally finished my semester and am ready to start the climb out of bronze 5. So, I jump into ranked and I've noticed that a lot of the games where my team loses, it started in champion select.
Typical problems I've encountered:
First pick declares their champion; someone who is banning decides to ban the champion the first pick declared, even though the first pick was not only the first pick of our team, but of the WHOLE GAME. Usual excuse is: "Sorry, can't take a chance of the enemy team getting
...."
Someone else (like me) declares their intended champion and refuses the offer to switch lanes; the person who is banning and wanted to switch lanes responds by banning my declared champion.
Someone declares a champion; someone else bans that declared champion because they think that champion is trash/not good for the team composition.
(just a pattern I've noticed, but often times the people who ban their teammates champions tend to be trolls in game. Funny how that works.)
Other than champion picks and bans, other usual problems include:
Someone starting off the chat with threats of "don't feed" or "don't lose your lane" because they're frustrated and on tilt and want to take it out on everyone else; side note: normally they're the ones that feed and lose their lanes.......
Classic case of seeing the enemy team composition and immediately giving up, but not dodging the queue; declares "gg" and then resorts to afking or feeding in game.
I was excited to see that the remake option (though annoyingly limited to the first 3 minutes of the game...) would be coming out next patch or so, but we still don't have something for champion select where Riot knows people troll? I mean, I know it's not a common occurrence outside of bronze, maybe, but if Riot is willing to do it for afks in the game, then I don't know why they wouldn't do it for champ select.
