Item slot for boots

I think boots should have their own item slot. I have played a lot of games where the game stretches out and I need my boots but my team could benefit off of having an item to replace them. This mainly happens to me as support, so maybe do something with that? OR maybe even have a different slot unlock after a certain time passes in the game. That you can move boots to. Im not sure, I just feel like 5 items and boots isnt enough for late game
