almost all the games iv played lately mid laners who really should not get mobi boots get them. lost my ranked game not due to mobi boots alone kat rushed twin shadows into mejais into mobi boots and told me to suck ass when i told her to get rid of that shit. either way why are so many people getting mobi boots. they arnt bad but like seriously wtf!

Uprgrading to Mobis only costs 475g while most other upgrades are around 800g. I think people might port back to base with just a little bit of gold, they see mobis, and think "what the hey" and just buy them.

AD mid laners pretty much have to choose between Mobility, Merc and CDR Boots. Roam heavy AP mid laners, especially when in a bad lane, may opt to get mobos.
