Can you make a turret guide?

So apparently after playing this game for almost 3 year i clearly dont understand how turrets work considering the fact that a riven can easily dive me at level 2 and my turret thinks minions are pretty cool.

like is there a different range for turret-minion than there is for turret-champion cus this shit is changing literaly everyday.

same range. turrets only aggro a champion once any sort of damage has been done to a champion. (I.e when you get hit from any source of damage, be it ignite, a ranged basic attack or a melee attack or some sort of damage ability)

BUT you have to be in your turrets radius for the turret to do damage to the enemy champion. (if for some reason you are outside of your own turret range and she is in turret radius then that sucks for you but the turret wont attack her)

I think this is up to date so here you go

Feel free to play the battle tutorial or a bot match to figure out the turret radius. (they are indicated in those games)

Turrets target minions first. They only target champions if there are no minions in its range, or that champion dealt damage to you under the turret. This is why they can run around under it without aggroing it.

Actually, there have been a lot of problems with turrets not focusing a champ damaging you under turret recently and the turret goes on attacking minions when its happening. There are videos of people getting hit at the base of their turret by a melee champ and the turret continues to attack minions. If it is extremely irritating or frustrating for you to play while this is going on, I suggest, if you have the option to, to not play rift until its fixed or go play another game. Or you could adjust your play-style to work around these problems and not even depend on the turret to help you. I know it's annoying, it frustrates me too, but until Rito notices it and works to fix it, adjusting the way we play is probably the only reasonable solution to a problem like this.
