Is there anything I can counter Ekko with as Nunu?

I just got destroyed in game by Ekko. He does so much damage but still has too much mobility. Is he getting a nerf anytime soon? If not, what can I do to counter him as Nunu, my favorite champ?

Nunu's in a bad spot right now, so I suggest just counterjungling him and not fighting.

Let's be honest. Nunu was never all that good a duelist, and for him to chase somebody down they have to be melee without the sorts of free easy dash that Ekko gets.

Nunu is the same as pre-rework Sion. His kit is just all over the place, which was great back in the day, but now that every champ has concise, overloaded kits, Nunu ends up just being a walking BB/Ult. He either needs a new offensive ability to replace BB, or he needs a new supportive ability to replace consume, depending on whether the consensus is jungle or support for him.
