So I've had this same situation happen to me several times as of late and I really can't understand why. Lately I'll find myself 1-2 kills up on my laning opponent with +30 CS on them, my team has secured dragon and a turret, and yet some how my laning opponent is a higher level than me. Can someone explain to me how this happens? I've completely given up trying to understand how I can be so far ahead in kills, farm, and objectives and still be a lower level.

Demonsolder211 votesYeah the very same phenomena happened to me as well, have no idea whats its all about. But from my understanding it only occurs to 2v1 lanes.
ZappyNine1 votesAre you roaming the map and taking objectives while your enemy stays in lane? You are doing the right thing by helping out your team if you're winning, and being a level or two behind but securing objectives is definitely worth it.
Martyrofsand1 votesWe do secure objectives but unless I'm mistake aren't those objectives worth more xp than a wave of minions, objectives being tower/dragon. There is also the additional xp I got from being a kill or two up. Also with +30 cs over them you would think I was spending more time in lane than they are.
