I love auto fill. It helps to reduce q times and the champion select also helps to give you the role you want. My only problem is with the players who don't take responsibility when they're autofilled. Just recently a had a support who first timed Zilean in ranked. I don't actually know if he was auto filled but most likely he was. I've also heard other stories of players trolling because they were autofilled. I mostly play mid and top but when I'm autofilled, I actually have some experience playing support. I'm just saying for those who haven't already, please practice support so when you're autofilled, you don't be a burden to your team.

plz tell me your being sarcastic from what i read everyone hates autofill

i would rather wait 30 min for a game to get a person who wants the support role than get autofiled into the support role im not gona buy any support champs and if autofilled i gona do something like yi or garen support even in ranked no rule saying i cant use yi or garen in the support role from what i read

Auto fill can actually be a good thing if only the whole community could spend some time playing support. From my experience I don't have to support that many times. About once every ten games which is not bad. How can you hate auto fill when the champion select BEFORE dynamic q was similar? With that old system, you could be forced into the support role or any other role you may not want. And people wanted to return to the old system more than dynamic q.

That can't be possible. They were probably banned for some other reason. Being bad isn't reportable.

It can be a good thing if people enjoyed Support. Simple reality is many people do not enjoy support. It comes down to the fact that people play this game for fun, and being autofilled into a role you do not like is not fun.

While autofill in theory isn't bad, and even in practice hasn't been that bad (you're right, you are autofilled a low percentage of the time), it's still unlikely that the community is going to support a system that forces people to do something in a game they do not enjoy, in a game they are playing for enjoyment.

The champion select before dynamic q would force you into a role if you were low in pick priority. Players preferred that over dynamic q.

True but they have given the playerbase role selection and then taken it away with autofill. This is the outcome you get from doing that.

Queue up as support or fill once and you're guaranteed your primary or secondary position for a game or two. I've personally never been autofilled because I find it important to know every role

The biggest problem is the rune pages, which are expensive as fuck and cannot be adjusted in champ select. It may not seem like a lot but resorting to a generalist runepage against a support main who has multiple pages per champion can make a support game essentially unwinnable

I get auto-filled maybe 1 out of 15-20 matches, tops.

strangely, when i DO get the autofill, it gives me ADC.....

I hate playing marksman......

Auto-fill WILL give you support every 3rd game. I've noticed that 90% of the time when a lobby is dodged you will be auto-filled. I've tested this and it's extremely rare that you queue up for a match and not have someone dodge at least once. However, I've figured out how to get around it. When someone dodges, you must restart the queue. Another trick is to pay attention to how much time you've been waiting for a match. If it starts to get close to 3 minutes, restart the queue. I suspect that auto-fill works based on the amount of time you've been waiting in queue. The higher the time, the higher the chance of you being auto-fill. Restarting the queue resets the timer and the timer is NOT reset when someone dodges which is why you will always get auto-filled after a dodge. Using these techniques I've been able to avoid auto-fill with a 100% success rate.

I play ranked almost exclusively, both Solo/Duo and Flex and I queue up as Top/Mid 99% of the time.

I had an autofill ADC and support in my promo matches. I get that people dont want to support but despise it when people are willing to ADC and I dont get one especially in promo in a key carry role its frustrating. They opened 0-8 by 6 minutes, easily tanking the game out of control

Will Continue to Dodge EVERY SINGE AUTOFILL match i get. Its horrible, ruining my account and makings its so i could only get 2 matches in 4 hours 2 days in a row. Cant help but notice riot answers other boards but not auto fill in bronze complaints.
