So sick of point click cc

Malzahar Warwick Liss Annie

its pisses me off that they can click the win button.

Point click cc should be removed from this game.

Maybe I'm just annoyed and ranting because I had a malz and ww on the same team. Whatever. Sometimes I can't stand this game.

But... But... point and click cc is the only counter to the hyper mobile adc and assassin meta we are seeing.

Honestly Liss is a godsend against the toxic assassin meta. Malzahar too! You should pick them against Zed and Leblanc and appreciate their easy abilities.

I guess my issue is not so much the point click ults, but rather ease in which they can achieve kills and snowball, it's really frustrating. Like especially with malz and ww it literally takes no, for lack of better word, skill. Idk I've only realized lately how much it's been pissing me off but yeah I'll jsut have to work around it much smarter i suppose and focus on jsut building early defense like a QSS because thats the only way you can be even remotely relevant, but then again QSS only removes ONE cc so whatever. I'll get over it, I'm just pissed right now.

They are frustrating, but they share a common thing.

They are single target AP CC (Tibbers isn't point and click). So if you are AD based you can always get a quicksilver and laugh at them.

I am in favor of point and click cc. Two great examples of (imo) good point and click CC is taric and annie. It is a projectile, giving you time to respond (dash/flash away) before it connects. Then of course it is single target and you can still item 3140 it.

Yeah that can be frustrating, and that combo is beyond annoying.

The unfortunate thing is that in the current state of the game, there are champions where point and click CC is basically the only way to deal with them, because they're so mobile that you'd have an easier time winning the lottery than landing skillshots.

Best I can say is build some defensive items to try and survive the initial onslaught and get away, and don't get too worried about it, as you're very unlikely to get that combo again. Even if you do get that combo again, laning phase sucks, but hopefully your team was smart enough to pick up some CC to cancel the suppression.

All of your points are fair and justified. But fuck man its so annoying because of how easy it is.

I don't mind point and click CC as long as it's not something like Taric's (i.e not accessible all the time). Annie's stun is the only one in your list that is a bit iffy but I think Malz, Liss, Lee Sin, Vi etc all have healthy ults. At the end of the day when your ultimate aims to crowd control a single target then it really can't be a skill shot. Ultimates are built to be reliable and it's either targeted or large AOE, I'm afraid.

Essentially you have to choose: do you prefer Frozen Tomb being 100% guaranteed to stun one member of your team or Crescendo/Glacial Prison having a 95% chance of stunning multiple people on your team?

Personally I'd prefer to take the Liss/Malz/WW ult to the face than have my whole team wiped out.

Point and click CC can feel a bit rubbish because you feel like "Why was I the one who got picked on :(" but as long as you have a brain with aiming AOE abilities, you'll almost universally get more use from them than point and click ones.
