Watching one champion just mow through our entire team with a spammable slow, ridiculous amounts of hp and extremely consistent damage is really starting to bother me. Honestly he needs his damage toned down or something.
I needed to vent. Anyone else in the same feels here?
He is quite annoying. But not unkillable. Pretty sure they buffed him because they brought back executioners
Funny, before preseason 6, there was no counter besides ignite against his healing and noone complained... Now every Auto attacker can buy Mortal reminder, reducing his Ult by 40% or Lord Dominik's Regards to deal 15% more damage to him, and somehow NOW people start to QQ about him... Ok, yeah I got it, he got the 5% dmg on his E now, but hell, he was strong before too. Whats up with people starting to cry NOW?
Your AP / AD carrys should be building these items and perhaps even your top laner when fighting a Mundo. If they are not building it then he basically becomes unkillable. Even with said items its still not easy without some decent CC.
As far as broken is concerned. DMG could be toned down a tad but overall hes in a very solid spot right now. I think he is one of the better balanced champions right now. Its more that hes in meta and that's why its annoying because you are forced to RE-learn how to deal with him with new items. And fitting those items really throws your own build for loops. Players simply need to adjust.
The problem I feel is the rate at which people can purchase those 'counter' items. Considering they don't really give too much in terms of efficiency other than their passives like mortal reminder for example. And mundo can just stack more and more armor to the point where simply countering his ult is not nearly enough, especially since hes not the only one on the team. The supports will often be buffing him non stop with their abilities and items, and at a certain point there just doesn't seem like there's anything to be done. His stats make it so that he just scales extremely well. Of course people keep saying to build these items but from my experience, to be quite honest they don't really do much, unless your adc is extremely fed or someone else who can make use of those items is really fed. In theory, yes, those items sound like they should do something. However I felt like the old last whisper actually helped so much more whereas these new versions seems so lack luster.
Well if building it early is the case then i guess I'll start doing that and see how it goes.
