it's 50 minutes into the game u are 42/0 with 13k gold with full build ur teammates are struggling and dont have full build you shud be able to donate your left over gold if you are full build when others arent or if you have no use for the leftover gold...

think this through please. this would cause everyone to go for gold generating items, and runes and safe champs with good waveclear and donate all their gold to the adc for an i.e. at 5 minutes.

or donate the gold to an assassin who just runs from lane to lane picking people off.
