The Mana Changes are there to make Mages have more windows of counterplay, especially when ahead.

Basically, right now past the 10 minute mark mana becomes just a mild inconveinence, what these changes want to do is to make it so you have to manage your mana, Gasp! The horror! I cant just spam spells for 45 minutes without going oom

Now you can actually use them being oom as a counterplay mechanic without then just siphoning your tears for mana and never going below half mana.

"But why do adc's get ER" Because Adc spells are generally less powerful than an average mage spell. Not like they are two different fucking classes or anything.

"But fuck rito they should go burn in hell, all they do is release chromas and the balance team just sits on their ass with their dicks in their hands" Just because they dont do everything you want immedietly, hust because they dont nerf a champ you struggle to face, doesnt mean the balance team is shit. Are there balance issues? Yes. But the balance team is actively working om finding a way to fix it without simply gutting the champion.

"But they lied about Solo Queue" First of all, not relevant. Secondly show me an official statement of them cancelling it, and not the "There is a world without solo queue" Shit because that is saying if they cant make it work it might not happen, but we will still try

Adc's have a guaranteed free source of sustained damage in their auto attacks, essence reaver just serves to allow them to cast spells for free as well. Mages have their spells and ply their spells as a source of damage and many of them are unreliable/miss-able. With these dumb mana changes all Mages are going to be is walking targets after using 8 spells in lane.
