Mord's New Ultimate, minor thematic adjustment?

His new ultimate is really cool, and I really think it will be incredibly useful. I was wondering if the ultimate's "Death Zone" should slowly shrink inwards over the duration of the ultimate? I mean Mord is supposed to be like the overlord of death. "You cant escape death".
