I learned something about Master Yi vs. Rammus today.

Do not build Wit's End against rammus. It is absolute garbage now. I tried to 1v1 a rammus with yi with skirmishers sabre: bloodrazor, BOTRK, and wit's end and tier 1 boots and he had a Sunfire and a Thornmail. He ended up destroying me. In Cowsep's highlight video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iz5czZTv48k&t=46s he 1v1s a rammus at 33 seconds in and he wins. He used Skirmishers sabre: bloodrazor, BOTRK, Maw, and Merc Treads.

TLDR: instead of getting wit's end on yi vs rammus, get a Maw instead.

Probably has a lot to do with the AD to true dmg. And the magic shield. And emergency vamp.

Personally, I would probably prefer a Black Cleaver since the Armor Reduction will reduce Rammus' AD (passive) and damage reflection (Thornmail, DBC) while amplifying your on-hit percentage health damage.

Alternatively, Mercurial Scimitar is rather useful for breaking the taunt, letting you fight on your terms.

Full build Crit Yi with a LDR, and you will win every single duel that comes your way. The build used would be glass cannon with defense (what???). I know, what I mean by "defense" is, PD and Red smite. Don't forget the BT and Warlord's. You'll even own a 500 Armor Malphite like this, because crit build tends to have a lot of bonus AD, and your true damage scales off bonus AD. Go figure.

Teamfight-wise though, you will suck hard compared to bruiser/AS Yi, and as Bruiser/AS Yi, you are unlikely to outdamage a Rammus specifically geared at you.
