Why Lucian/Kallista will ALWAYS be picked more then Ashe

is an immobile ADC, she doesn't bring ANY more damage to the table. Her Arrow, reliable CC yes, but still the support can usually have CC or the Mage so its rarely needed on an ADC. and and just have tons more mobility and ability to keep safe but don't do any less damage from Ashe. The problem with their design is there is no loss in damage or a trade off for the mobility that they have and hence why they are always going to be used more because they are more forgiving.

You bring Ashe for her ability to permanently slow as well. This helps out a ton when she's not going to be the main carry. She helps enable a juggernaut or close range non mobile mage for instance. She does do good damage though, and can kite for days.

I haven't tried Kalista but out of Trist and Lucian, I prefer Ashe and I've been maining Ashe. Yeah she's immobile but the rest of her kit is good, as long as you position yourself correctly, have teammates able to peel champs like Yas, Zed, Yi, Riven, Ireila, etc. she works well.

Ok but think about this.

Ashe with good positioning vs a Tristana with good positioning AND the ability to reposition in a fight.

Ashe kites, Trist does not. You play them differently lol. The only thing they have in common is the role of damage carry.

Plus Ashe's ult can nullify trist leaping and kite her to death but again that's not how you play Ashe, or how you should even play trist. You're a squishy, sit in the back and lay down the damage you're supposed to, and focus the next best thing closest to you where your positioning isn't going to get you killed.

I mean they just have different kits. You don't want all ADCs to be the same. Some people may just like ashe better and she is very easy to learn how to play the role on. Plus with each characters passives you can open up different build paths. Some people may like the vision on her E so you can watch drag or baron pit which is very useful. Her ults cc is great for teamfights, especially if your supp doesn't have any hard cc. I'm no ADC main but hear me out, just because they are more mobile doesn't mean that they're gonna win. Good kiting is a great thing but even still. Ashe's W can hit almost anything. It's all about how the kit is in my opinion.

Ashe is good tbh, just learn how to kite and evade hard cc. Pretty OP v.s tanks because they can't get away from her.

They'll always be picked more, but does that mean they're inherently better? In the case of playing with four random dudes, then yeah they probably would be better in the vast majority of situations. But if you're with a coordinated team, Ashe can shine. Pray who is the current ADC for ROX Tigers is best known for going to Ashe as a comfort pick because he knows his team can make it work.
