Am I the only one who thinks Voice Comms in soloq would be an amazing addition?

There are so many people who like to duo queue in ranked, fair enough. I think that the solo queue players are at a huge disadvantage because they simply cant communicate with as much accuracy as the duo... Typing is out of the question because by the time you're done, you may have died.

Having the option for voice comms for the team while in soloq would be a fantastic addition to the game and i know it make a massive positive impact on the solo queue experience.

feel free to counter me if you don't feel as I do. But whether you agree or disagree, i'd love to hear your thoughts!

I think it has the potential to do a lot of good, but there'd need to be some features to ensure players have control over their experience.

First and foremost, muting people or leaving voice comms should be intuitive and easy. One button press should be enough to get toxic people out of my ear.

Second, volume gating. A slight delay in the audio would be well worth giving a program time to work is magic and lower the volume of suddenly loud sounds would save people's hearing when teammates decide to scream their head off.

Finally, have a system in place that detects when someone is screaming or is just making constant noise (i.e., playing music over comms), and flagging their account for priority when reported for bad behavior. An addition UI message like "Woah, that was loud! Do you want to mute them?" for the recipients of screaming, and something that warns people when they're being too loud would be great (even though volume gating would help in this area, you shouldn't be screaming at your teammates).

I don't. The community will be like csgo. I played that game once, turned on mic, everyone told me to kms and called me all sorts of racist names. Hell no. Riot also will never implement voice comms, they said so themselves.

Have you ever listened to voice chat in dota? I don't think you'd want that here.

I will say this. I will not talk, but I will listen and tell people as much. I'm a not toxic at all over comms because to me it's too close to home. In text, it's super easy for me to be a shit lord. That's just how I'm wired. I theorize that most people are this way and that voice wouldn't at all make toxicity worse. It might actually improve it if not keep everything the same. Regardless it won't be a hindrance.

Player Behavior would be even better with voice com logs. "Guys I know I screeched like an autistic and told my adc I was coming to fucking murder them, but here's what REALLY happened!"

a queue where everyone is solo and the comment section is disabled would be excellent 4--2--0

Alot of people do, but alot of League players have this weird phobia towards "toxicity", which they think will be much worse with voice comms.
