Pretty much what the title says. I used to love Morellonomicon because of the old Grail passive of mana restore on takedowns. But now no item has that mana passive anymore, and certain mages that I always got it on (Lux for example) are not good Tear champions and can't make good use of it with their kit charging it too slowly.
So if I needed an item to solve mana problems like Morello (and Unholy Grail before it) did, what would I be looking for?
Sadly the last patch destroied the mana balance, atm i recognize only 2 possible mage paths:

Lux would prob double benefits from rushing the due to the CD and Mana passive

Wondering the same thing. Looking for decent Taliyah build paths but honestly don't know what to do anymore. Been playing around with ROA/Archangel's/Luden's for first items.
Let me go ahead and say that a lot of mages have turned into "tear mages" with patch 8.4.
Especially if you are not playing in the LCS where your jungler gives you all the blue buffs.
