Was Master Yi made originally for top or for jungle?

Jbels2 votesMaster Yi was one of the original 40 champions, so back then there wasn't really a meta for Riot to design champions around. His kit was also drastically different from what it is today

SEKAI1 votesHe was designed as a melee and agile hypercarry who's rather squishy innately but could have monster damage when fed, he wasn't designed with a particular "lane" in mind because it was when Riot wasn't actively designing champs to fit a certain role in the current meta.
He's being tuned to fit better in jg these days through balancing, though.
