Just kidding, but not really. You need to depend on your teammates to keep you alive, standing WAAAAAY back until you see the assassin show themselves. Watch for the cooldown they use to engage, then step up. You staying alive is more important than dealing damage.
Bloodthirster is not an anti-assassin item. The shield and lifesteal are great for trading, but it does nothing if you don't get the chance to deal any damage.
It sucks, but sometimes you just gotta build a Zhonya's. There's a reason why most ADCs have an AP scaling tucked away somewhere in their kit (Jhin E, Ashe R, Lucian W, etc.). The repeatable stopwatch will keep you alive where GA and Phantom Dancer won't. Bait them into all-inning you, go into stasis, and hope your teammates can take care of the assassin while they're overextended.

You don't, and people will quickly realize this again if his mini-rework is a success. There's a reason why Wukong is currently a monster in the midlane and has been so for years. He's an assassin masquerading as a bruiser. Honestly, calling Wukong an assassin doesn't even give the full image of what he it. He's a monstrous combination of Shaco and Qiyana. Invisibility, one shot potential, and STRONG teamfighting CC. The only thing keeping him down is the fact that he's a statcheck but can't contend with the stats of toplaners.

Here's mid and ADC Wukong BTW. Ignore anyone who gives you a bullet list of counterplay, because the only true counterplay to him is having great stats. What do they say counters Wukong? Range and CC, right? Who has the most of both? The mid laners that he spanks. Now who has the least of both? The top laners that demolish him. I rest my case.

Not long ago, Garen entered the bot lane. What happened? One patch was enough to eliminate him from the bot. Evidently favorite lane of Riot.Meanwhile Kassadin get -5 ms

XD adc complain that he cant kill him from range.Yy in all adc minds all should be mele and be destroyed from range but when you face something like this game is instantly unplayable.
You could always play Draven and E him out of his dash.
'Course that requires good timing, plus Draven's E is on a much higher cooldown. But after the first time, you should have chunked him out with autos so much that he needs to stay back and heal up a bit, which gives time for your E to come back up.
You hope to god your team keeps him away with CC or play Tristana and have a great reaction time with your ult.
You play Heimer and you rush Hourglass. ;)
