I'm a LeBlanc main and won't miss DFG.
As VoyBoy stated in the patch notes DFG was just a luxury item that allowed you to overkill someone... I know as a LeBlanc main I can easily go up to someone without DFG Q, R for half their health then finish it off with W and E.

I bought DFG for the AP and CDR, I never actually used the active (sure, I would have been better if I did, but most times I didn't need it and I sucked too much to use it when I did ;P ) .
Except, you know, now no 20% damage amplification on her charm (which I clearly DID use) and paltry compensation buffs. She's not going to work nearly as well as a kite mage. First, she'll absolutely need 40% CDR to have the sustained damage and mobility, meaning I need to replace DFG with a 20% CDR item (as I can't depend on blue buff to always be there). Then she needs to kite, so I need a Rylai's, what do I drop from my build for that? My first thought was Lich Bane, but that's honestly a huge part of the sustained damage and her only way to really help push down structures when your adc sucks. Not to mention the Aether wisp MS increase also would help with kiting. So instead do I drop Deathcap? Zhonya's? Void Staff? All three of those items are ridiculously important to do anything with her. Can't drop my Lucidity Boots because I need that 40% CDR (not to mention the MS to kite with).
So yea, they made a new Ahri that needs 7 items at full build. Great... And even if she had that, who's going to chase an Ahri? LMAO. You chase an adc because they have 1 mobility ability and lots of people can catch them then blow them up. Who's going to chase a carry with 3 dashes, a massive MS increase that she can use to deal huge damage at you, a zero cast time ability that also deals huge damage, and a 50% MS slow that also makes you lose control of your champion and also deals good damage?
